This review will contain some MAJOR SPOILERS – if you want to read this book unspoiled (and you really should), then I’ll just point out that it is an awesome novel that is a must-read for fans of heavy metal music and horror fiction. So, let’s take a look at “We Sold Our Souls”. Well, I was in the mood for a horror novel, so I thought that I’d take a look at Grady Hendrix’s 2018 novel “We Sold Our Souls”.Įver since I discovered a fascinating website about the history of horror fiction called “Too Much Horror Fiction” ( run by Will Errickson, who has co-written a couple of non-fiction books with Grady Hendrix), I’ve been meaning to read one of Hendrix’s novels because he seems to be a modern horror author who is keeping the glorious tradition of 1980s/90s paperback horror alive □ And, to my delight, I found that a second-hand copy of “We Sold Our Souls” had finally come down in price when I was looking online for books.
